Pervasive games are games that make you to play with your environment. In most games, like board and computer games, you play on a screen or a board, completely isolated from your surroundings. But pervasive games are different; now the street is your playground and city is your game board. Yeah, it is a bit more like skateboarding, hide & seek or tag on the streets.

The goals in pervasive games can be anything from chasing other players to exploring new areas of your city. Bypassers will probably notice your game, so many games make sure that spectators will have fun too. There are endless numbers of different games you could make: Imagine playing Pac-Man, Othello or Sherlock Holmes on the streets. For example, you could make treasure hunts where you follow puzzles to find a prize, tag games where players chase each other, or even performance games where you try to entertain outsiders with wacky gaming. Of course, you have to take care not to hurt yourself or the people around you while playing.
